Developing on Partitura

Partitura's IDE is a full-featured development environment that allows you to develop on Partitura using the same tools and workflows you use for any other project. It is built on top of VS Codium and provides a seamless development experience.

Extensions

By default, it comes with a few extensions installed, such as Partitura's theme, Partitura Chat extension and Claude Code.

"But why would I use this extension inside the IDE? I can use the real Chat on the side!"

Great question!

Yeah, there's no real reason. The orchestra just developed it one day and I decided to leave it there, for the one person who might find it useful.

Partitura's IDE supports Open VSX extensions, allowing you to customize your development environment with the tools you use for any other project.

There's not much else to say, you can use it as you would use VSCode.

Partitura is not an IDE-focused solution like Cursor or Antigravity, the goal is to provide a IDE that is good enough to be used for development, comes with default Partitura integrations and has no copyright issues.
